Audio Work

During my time at Rutgers University, I wrote, researched, recorded, edited, and produced these podcasts for my courses. I was also a disc jockey for the university’s radio station, 90.3 FM The Core. At The Core, I learned about FCC Guidelines, music distribution, and radio etiquette.

Narrative Podcasting: What does it mean for Gen Z and Millennials?

For my final project in my Podcasting and Audio Documentary course with Professor Chenjerai Kumanyika I created this podcast. The podcast discusses our generations collective fear of silence, what podcasts offer that other popular media doesn’t, and why narrative podcasts are so important for our generations. This podcast was featured in Rutgers University’s Kairos Magazine. See the article by clicking here.

Three Women Who Are Revolutionizing The Indie Scene

For the course Strategic Presentation Methods in Digital Media with Professor James Hodges, I created this podcast for my website, INDIY. INDIY was a course-long project in which I created this podcast, a video tutorial, and blog posts to demonstrate my digital communication skills. This podcast is about three young, female indie musicians who are making an impact on the scene.

Facebook & Data Ethics

For my Capstone in Digital Communication, Information, and Media with Professor Lorena Cunningham, I created this podcast about big data ethics with a focus on the platform Facebook. I am very passionate about studying and discussing data surveillance and data mining, so it was very exciting for me to be able to research this topic. I also made a website called “Dancing With Data” for this class.
